Goddammit tumblr- look what you made me do!  I literally begged you people to get on the bandwagon and make me some Ripper Street fanart, but you dragged your heels, and now I’m doing it!

While the last (Dishonored Fanart) sketch I produced was pretty well-liked on tumblr, the client (my husband, Seth) turned it down flat.  He wanted to see Emily, the daughter of the Empress, all grown up and acting as the new Assassin, taking the place of Corvo.  He thinks that would be a pretty cool sequel.  He liked the rough, and he is still on board so far with the line art.  What do you think, tumblr?

Seth has been very strongly suggesting a bit of Dishonored fanart for the last several days.  He actually was angling for an image of maybe Cecelia or Samuel, his favorite characters, but I started with Corvo’s face and worked out from there (hence the total lack of composition) and it landed with just Corvo and Emily.  Eh.  Let’s see where it goes, hmm?

I did this forever ago (actually about 18 months, I think) and gave it to my brother, but first I took a picture, so this is a picture from a camera phone.  Sorry for the quality.  You aren’t missing much- it’s not great to begin with.

I like Dragon Age- I’ve been thinking about it and slowly getting psyched about DA3.  Isabella/Merril anybody?  Or Isabella/Fenris?  You know what?  ISABELLA/EVERYBODY.

I meant to finish this little Noir portrait of Tony Stark today, but I had to stop and finish the Thank You cards from the wedding.  So, here’s a little sketch to prove that I haven’t left this project behind.

Fanart, Anyone?

I did some sketches of a 1940s, Film Noir Avengers AU, like, 3 months ago.  I was sitting at home watching a movie tonight, and made this little installation into the series (does it count as a series if there are only two pieces in it?)

In my universe, Hawkeye is the the 1930s “Boxer” archetype.  Hard-edged, disconnected, a little desperate but loyal.

Damn it, I should have put him in high-waisted pants and suspenders.

There you go, Anon- sweet Sherlock sketch- made at the speed of light (for me, anyway).  I even made it artsier by adding a map of London.  Take that, art school that I did not attend.

For all of you who are just getting home from Dark Knight Rises- I’m sorry for taking up your feed with something not DKR related.  Anon and I were just enjoying a drink over the sensation of being the only people not out tonight.
